He was predeceased by: his parents, James Taylor and Bertha Taylor; his daughter Fonda Sue Brewer; and his siblings, James Taylor, Melvin Taylor, Randall Taylor, Vernon Taylor and Dorothy Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Flora Taylor; his children, Roger Taylor (Lisa), Kathy Linden (Tom) and Barbara Buchanan (Mikel); and his sister Ollie Dean Harris. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 20th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McMillan Funeral Home (702 W College St, Booneville, MS 38829). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
