We are sad to announce that on August 28, 2020, at the age of 86, Dorothy Horton Edwards of Tiplersville, Mississippi, born in Independence, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Guyton Horton and Dott Skinner Horton; her husband Claude Edwards, Jr.; her daughter Claudette Edwards; her sister Nellie Ruth Horton; her siblings-in-law, John Tate Harrell, Butch Riley and Hazel Horton; her niece Jo Horton; and her nephews, Michael Montgomery and Donny Horton.
She is survived by: her daughter Ruth Ann Edwards Perry (Ricky) of Columbus, MS; her grandson Ryan Perry of Falkner; her siblings, Bobby Guyton Horton of Tiplersville, James Arnold Horton (Alice) of Falkner, Nettie Jean Harrell of Falkner and Natalie Riley of Shannon; and her nephews, Billy Montgomery, David Horton, Greg Harrell, Doug Horton, Jeff Harrell, Scott Harrell, Jimmy Horton and John Riley. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
