He was predeceased by: his parents, Guyton Horton and Dott Skinner Horton; his wife Hazel James Horton; his sons, Michael Montgomery and Donny Horton; his daughter-in-law Cindy Horton; and his siblings, James Arnold Horton, Dorothy Edwards, Nellie Horton and Jean Harrell.
He is survived by: his children, Billy Montgomery, Pat Eaton (Johnny) of Tiplersville, MS and Bobbye Nell Knight (Gene) of Tiplersville, MS; his sister Natalie Horton Riley of Shannon, MS.; and his grandsons, John Eaton, Colby Horton, Ben Knight, Michael Montgomery, Andy Horton and Jonah Knight. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
