He was predeceased by: his parents, Van Goode and Nancy Wolfe Goode; his sons, Van Goode, Jr. and Johnny Goode; his sister Ruby Tubbs; and his granddaughter Susan Myrick.
He is survived by: his wife Sheryn Goode; his daughters, Linda Shelton (David) of Nesbit, Dana Huffman (Lee) of Bartlett, TN and Sonja Mercer (Joel) of Arlington, TN; and his sisters, Sarah Tillman of Batesville and Ruth Jaudon of Batesville. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
