She was predeceased by: her parents, Shade Gafford and Georgia Gafford; her husband Thurman D. Allen; and her siblings, Jerry Lee Gafford, Frankie Geneva Weeden and Marie Gafford.
She is survived by: her sister Sara Earnestine Holden; her children, Danny Thurman Allen (Ann), Donald Roy Allen (Hallie) and Kathy Marie Wasylina; her grandchildren, Daniel Shade Allen, Geneva Ann Haley, Brian Joel Allen and Timothy Andrew Wasylina; and her great grandchildren, Julia Haley, Samuel Haley, Melody Haley, Stephen Allen, Stephanie Allen, Anna Allen, Abigail Allen, Katlyn Allen, Rebecca Allen, Olimide Allen and Benjamin Allen.
