He is survived by: his wife Deloris Hicks; his children, Kim Mercer (Scott) of Ecru and Kevin Hicks (Angel) of Black Zion; his grandchildren, Katie Werner (Justin), Hunter Hicks (Kayla), Keaton Mercer, Kaden Hicks and Huston Hicks; his great grandchildren, Noah Werner, Ellis Hicks, Granger Werner and Hadlie Hicks; and his sister Vivian Kidd (Larry).
