He was predeceased by: his parents, Jewel Coleman and Nylee Hunter Coleman of Thaxton; his great-niece Brittany Rhea Phillips; and his brother-in-law Johnny McCharen. He is survived by: his grandson Jarrod; his wife Martha Jo; his son Jonathan Brooks Coleman; and his siblings, Dianne Phillips (Sonny) of Saltillo, Jerry Coleman (Nancy) of Thaxton and Steve Coleman (Angela) of Thaxton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
