She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Bost and Modean Bost; her husbands, Quay Dennis Gooch and Cowboy Washington; and her son Dennis Lynn Gooch.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Ward (Gene), Rhonda Kenney (Don), Sandra Barnard (Wally) and Jeff Gooch (Lisa); her grandchildren, Brandon Gooch (Emily), Amy Willard, David Ward (Erica), Richard Morris (Christy), Jessica Ward, Abby Bright (C. J.), Anna Beth Tacker, Brielle Cruse, Karlee Smith (Chad), Jonathan Barnard (Stephanie), Grant Gooch (Laken), Jaret Gooch (Devin) and Lindsay Gall (Jay); her brother Jerry Bost (Lynda); and her sister-in-law Shelby Griffin (Barnell). She is also survived by 27 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Thaxton Methodist Church.
