He was predeceased by: his mother Lanelle Davis. He is survived by: his wife Renee King Davis; his son Kevin Rakestraw; his father John H. Davis of Terry; and his siblings, Larry Davis (Pat) of Florence and Janet Foster (Larry) of Terry. He is also survived by one niece; two nephews; three great-nieces; and two great-nephews.
