He is survived by: his wife Emma Dean; his son Darnell Dean; his stepdaughter Nikita Hogan; and his siblings, Florestine Lacy of Chicago, IL, Linda Giles (Roy) of Carthage, MS, Catherine Lacy of Lexington, MS., Brenda Davis (Calvin) of Lexington, MS., Bunny Lacy of Lexington, MS., Jeanette Clerk (Eugene) of Lexington, MS., Arthur Lacy of Jackson, MS and George Lacy of Lexington. He is also survived by four grand-daughters, one great-grand child.
