We bid farewell to Sammy Carrol Atchley of Taylorsville, Mississippi, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 30, 2024 at the age of 75. Sammy Carrol touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid adieu to Sammy Carrol's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Sammy Carrol has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Charlie Atchley and Eva Mathis Atchley; and his siblings, James Matthew Atchley, Charles Atchley, Jr. and Johnnie Ruth White.

He is survived by : his daughter Samantha Ann Wilson; and his siblings, Bobby Atchley, Joyce Ann Tanner (Jerry) and Patty Jean Pitts. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and other family members.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 2nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fellowship Baptist Church (220 Fellowship Rd, Taylorsville, MS 39168). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 3rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, July 3rd 2024 at the Fellowship Cemetery (301 S C Rd 14, Taylorsville, MS 39168).
