He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Edwin Lee Mitchell, Sr. and Mary Evelyn VanBuren Mitchell; and his sister Marie Mitchell. He is survived by: his children, Robert'Robby'Mitchell and Laura Lee Lyons (Christopher); his grandchildren, Amber Lee Mott and Jonathan Eubanks; and his caregivers, Deneace Hicks and Lillie Henry.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel Saturday (4593 Indian Springs Rd, Laurel, MS 39443). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
