He was predeceased by: his father Lovette Dean Mize (Buster); and his grandparents, Pete Woodrow, Mildred Mize, Charles and Merlene Ervin.
He is survived by: the mother of his children Lane Mize; his children, Tristan Mize, Taylor Ward, Molly Mize and Ana Grace Mize; his mother Barbara Ervin Mize; his grandchildren, Lillie Ward, Zachary Ward, Scarlett Ward and Reed Flynt; and his siblings, John Clay Mize (Amber), Charles Mize and Melissa Jackson (Robert). He is also survived by other family members and friends.
