She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Shanks and Hazel Shanks; and her brother Ed Shanks (Eddie Boy). She is survived by: her steadfast Christian; her children, Ron Walker of Taylorsville, Leigh Ann Leonard (Chris) of Hattiesburg and Ellen Shoemaker of Taylorsville; her grandchildren, Rachel Shoemaker, Noah Shoemaker and Andrew Leonard; and her cousin Ann Rose Howell. She is also survived by her family, and her love for Elvis and animals.
