She was predeceased by: her husband Burl Evans; her son Kelvin "Bones" Evans; her parents, Harold Phipps and Grace Kelly Phipps; her grandchild Ance Evans; and her siblings, John Anse Phipps and Faye Gray.
She is survived by: her children, Marlon Evans (Sharon) of Taylorsville, MS and Amanda Evans of Raleigh, MS; her sister Peggy Andris; her grandchildren, Norris Evans (Anny) and Pete Evans (Tisha); and her great grandchildren, Ezra, Braylon and Kilah. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (125 Welcome St, Taylorsville, MS 39168). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at the Fellowship Cemetery (301 S C Rd 14, Taylorsville, MS 39168).
