He was predeceased by: his wife Marie Bryant Blakeney; his parents, Gail Blakeney and Louise Keene Blakeney; and his siblings, Thomas "Tom" Blakeney, Dick Blakeney and Joyce Blakeney Prine.
He is survived by: his family Tartar; his children, Larry Blakeney (Marilyn) of Taylorsville, MS, Harry Blakeney (Susan) of Hattiesburg, MS and Jana Blakeney Pasillas (Willie) of Terry, MS; his grandchildren, Chris Blakeney (Chauncey) of Puckett, MS, Ashleigh Blakeney Stringer (Brandon) of Stringer, MS, Carlee Blakeney of Hattiesburg and Hannah LeBlanc of Terry, MS; his great grandchildren, Nolan Blakeney of Puckett, MS, Decklyn Stringer of Stringer, MS and Denton Stringer of Stringer, MS; and his brother John Billy Blakeney of Taylorsville, MS. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
