It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernice Puckett (Taylorsville, Mississippi), who passed away on January 8, 2019, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roger Thompson and Ruth Thompson Ainsworth; her stepfather Gerald Ainsworth; her brother Wayne Thompson; and her close friend Charles Dunnaway.
She is survived by: her husband Wiley Puckett of Mendenhall; her children, Scotty McMahan of Taylorsville, Pamela Smith (Ike) of Bassfield and Angela Compeseco (Marine) of McComb; her siblings, Nancy Gentry of Mt. Olive, Patsy Lowery (Benny) of Mt. Olive and Rocky Thompson of Mt. Olive; her grandchildren, Kayla McMahan, Jaxon Mullins, Kaitlyn Mullins, Cayden Compeseco and Michael Briley-Kade Smith; her uncle Paul Thompson of Pelahatchie; her aunt Christine Blackwell of Taylorsville; and her child Gary.
