He was predeceased by: his parents, Van Wortham and Comora Carothers Wortham; and his wife Russell Mae Wortham. He is survived by: his parent-in-law Russell Mae Houston; his children, Herron Wortham (Vendetta), Dan Egerson (Marcia) of Pearl City, HI, April Wortham, Nelson (Neil) of Atlanta, GA, Vanessa Wortham and Hunt (Darryl) of Houston, TX; and his close friend Mae Frances Mitchell of Oxford, MS. He is also survived by four grandchildren, one great grandchild.
