It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Macine Booker of Taylor, Mississippi, who passed away on December 28, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Winnie McEwen and Pricinne Toles McEwen; and her siblings, Voyde Ivy, Jake Ivy, Winnie McEwen, Jr., Bernice Sisk, Rosie Lene McEwen and Lillie Bee Ivy.
She is survived by: her children, George Booker (Ella Mae) of Water Valley, MS, Robert L. Booker of Taylor, MS, Andy Booker, Sr. of Taylor, MS, Maylene Booker of Taylor, MS and Kathleen Booker Mathis (Thomas) of Taylor, MS; her brother Tommie McEwen of Memphis, TN; and her nieces and nephews, Floyd, Eugene "Butch" McEwen, Joanna Sisk Henderson and Omega Kay Blake. She is also survived by six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
