She was predeceased by: her father Garfield Owens, Sr.; and her grandparents, James, Addie Owens, Edgar and Everlean Phillips.
She is survived by: her mother Fronnie Phillips Owens of Taylor, MS; her children, Michael S. Bell and Allison Bell of Oxford, MS; and her siblings, Jimmie Owens (Gracie) of Taylor, MS, Garfield Owens, Jr. (Sonquanetta) of Taylor, MS, Clifford Owens of Taylor, MS and Annette Owens (Michael G. Bell) of Taylor, MS. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
