He was predeceased by: his parents, William Burks and Bobbie Burks. He is survived by: his wife Joann Burks of Sumrall; his children, Raland Burks (Loni) of Hattiesburg, Amber Cone of Sumrall, MS and Davey Burks (Cayla) of Puckett, MS; and his uncle Jack Thomas Culpepper. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
