He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Murphy; his grandson Mason McDaniel; his great grandchild Grace Byall; and his mother Maudie Murphy Little. He is survived by: his wife Jean Murphy of Sumrall, MS; his stepchildren, Terry McDaniel (Brenda) of Sumrall, MS, Jerry McDaniel of Hattiesburg, MS, Norman McDaniel of Hattiesburg, MS, Tim McDaniel of Hattiesburg, MS and Melissa McDaniel of Hattiesburg, MS; and his brother Morris Little of Little Rock, AR.
