He was predeceased by: his wife Gertrude Stogner; his parents, William "Bud" Stogner and Dehlia Turnage Stogner; his brother William Earl Stogner; and his son-in-law Kenny Franz.
He is survived by: his children, Sue Franz of Sumrall, Howard Stogner of Sumrall and George Stogner (Carolyn) of Sulphur, LA; his sister-in-law Calva Mae Clemmons; his grandchildren, David Stogner (Jill), Kimberly Comeaux (Pam), Keisha Jarrell and Kayla Lindgren (Logan); and his niece Debra Ashley. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
