He was predeceased by: his wife Mavine Williamson; his parents, Layton Williamson and Virgie Williamson; his son Ira Williamson; his grandsons, Grant Broome and Charlie Stancel; his great grandchild Kelsey Keller; and his siblings, Oliver Williamson, Ottis Williamson, Jimmy Williamson, McArthur "Chuck" Williamson, Lizzie Bounds, Goldie Mae Hanberry and Gatha Stuart.
He is survived by: his children, Joe Williamson (Linda) of Sumrall, MS, Larue Williamson (Rita) of Sumrall, MS, Ed Williamson (Shauna) of Sumrall, MS, Donna Sue Broome (Nelson) of Sumrall, MS and Patsy Stancel (Johnny) of Sumrall, MS; his daughter-in-law Nena Williamson of Sumrall, MS; his sisters, Maxie Lee Broome of Bassfield, MS and Azalene Breakfield of Sumrall, MS; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Nell Williamson of Sumrall, MS. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
