It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louise Ponder (Sumrall, Mississippi), born in Mount Olive, Mississippi, who passed away on March 1, 2018, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Eva Mae Sanford Ponder; and her siblings, Velma Hosey, Billy Wayne Ponder and Thomas Earl Ponder. She is survived by: her children, Frankie Norris of Sumrall, Renee Byrne of Sumrall, Shannon Goolsby (Greg) of Sumrall and Corey Ainsworth of Collins; and her siblings, Edwina Gentry of Collins, Barbara Simoneau of Decatur, Jerry Ponder of Walker, Sam Ponder of Mount Olive and David Ponder of Humble. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews.
