It is with great sadness that we announce the death of June Bryant Stewart of Sumrall, Mississippi, who passed away on February 9, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jewell Maskew Bryant and Felton Bryant; her brother Lane Bryant; her grandson Jamie McCraney; and her brother-in-law Mike Wallace.
She is survived by: her great grandchild Presley Pierce; her husband Billy Wayne Stewart; her children, Linda Townsend (Hugh) of Hattiesburg, Debi Bond (Terry), Randy Dossett of Sumrall, Vernon Stewart (Val) of Sumrall and John Wayne Stewart (Mary Temple) of Sumrall; her sisters, Sylvia Wallace and Mittie Pittman; and her siblings-in-law, JoAnn Bryant, Agnes Francher, Joe Pittman and Joe Stewart. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
