He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Bounds of Midway; his children, Teresa Grantham (Darrell) of Midway, Mark Bounds (Vickie) of Columbia and Scotty Bounds of Midway; his stepchildren, Michelle Donaldson (James) of Midway, Angie Hall (Thomas) of Rawls Springs, Mark Dickinson (Mary) of Midway and David Dickinson of Florida; and his brothers, Lonnie Bounds (Readonna) of Soso and Joey Bounds (Carolyn) of Houston, TX. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
