She was predeceased by: her former husband Bill Backus; and her children, Billy Backus and Elizabeth Alonzo. She is survived by: her husband James D. Sullivan of Sumrall, MS; her son Robby Backus (Spring) of Albuquerque; and her stepdaughters, Kay Sullivan of Hattiesburg, MS and Candi McClellan (Scotty) of O'Fallon, MO. She is also survived by five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home Sumrall Chapel (150 Crossland Rd, Sumrall, MS 39482).
