It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doyle Eugene Tharp of Sumner, Mississippi, who passed away on June 12, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest Tharp and Leona Upchurch Tharp; his siblings, Robert, Harold Tharp, Mildred Stone and Janie Kelly; and his great grandchild Walker Woodward.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Jenkins Tharp; and his children, Jackie Tharp (Shay) of Sebastopol, MS, Sherry Abney (David) of Atlanta, GA and Pam Woodward (Glenn) of Cleveland, MS..
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in honor of Doyle Tharp to St. Jude Children's.
