It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shelia Phelps of Summit, Mississippi, born in Jackson, Mississippi, who passed away on September 23, 2021, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Smithie Buie, Sr. and Martha Nell Powell Buie; and her aunt Ivy Wells. She is survived by: her husband Buck Phelps of Summit; her children, Dannial Vanslooten (Rachel) of Summit and Kylee Bagley of Summit; her sister Vickie Gerald (Bruce) of McComb; and her grandchildren, Kacee Bagley, Levi Vanslooten, Zoee Lawrence, Traiden Lawrence, Madison Rimes, Macey Rimes, Hazelynn Rimes, Jack Leggett of Heflin, AL, Bruce and Cindy Rimes of Summit. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
