With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ruby Etheridge of Summit, Mississippi, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Ruby left this world on February 9, 2025 at the age of 66, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bob Chisholm and Geraldine Chisholm; her husband Charles E. Etheridge; her brother Bobby Rand Chisholm; and her niece Megan Shoemake.
She is survived by: her sons, Joshua "Luke" Williams (Crystal) and Bob "Wardale" Sandifer; her grandchildren, Calvin Williams, Trent Williams Colton Williams (Lauren) and Katie Dunn (John); her great grandchildren, Ridge Dunn, Avah Dunn and Iyrah Kate Williams; her sister Libby Shoemake; and her aunts, Erma Chisholm and Faye Wroten. She is also survived by numerous step-children and step-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pleasant Valley Church (6028 Fenn Rd, Smithdale, MS 39664). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
