It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lamar Jackson (Summit, Mississippi), who passed away on February 20, 2018, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Jack Jackson. He is survived by: his parents, William Jackson and Elizabeth Parker Jackson; his children, David Jackson (Tammy) of Summit, Greg Jackson (Carrie) of McComb, Sonya Forte (Dannie) of Suwanee, GA and Angela Harvey (Michael) of Daingerfield, TX; and his siblings, Joe Jackson, Peggy Lewis (Felix) of Bogue Chitto and Dorothy "Dot" Branch of Summit. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild with numerous nieces and nephews.
