He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmit Johnston and Lillie Dillon Johnston; his wife Clara Jean Johnston; his son Clarence Johnston; his siblings, Floyd Wilkinson, Earl Wilkinson, Roy Wilkinson, John Henry Johnston and Amy Allred; his grandmothers, Bell Allred, Mattie Jones, Marie Pickering, Bessie Mae Gill and Rhoda Thornton; and his great grandchild Jonah Lane Johnston.
He is survived by: his son Ricky Johnston (Gina); his sister Mildred Woodall; his daughter-in-law Kay Causey (Roger); and his grandchildren, Ryan Johnston (Loren), Trevan Johnston (Danielle), Tanner Johnston (Sami) and Justin Johnston (Maura).
