He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Ray Hennis and Patty Lord Lagrimas; his stepfather Adolphus "Sonny" Lagrimas; and his son Steven Ray Hennis. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Tharp Hennis; his children, Jason Hennis, Sonny Hennis, Shannon Walker (Wes) and Kimberly Shumate (Justin); and his sister Rhonda Laredo. He is also survived by five grandchildren with numerous nieces and nephews.
