It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Dale Jackson of Sturgis, Mississippi, who passed away on June 6, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Corbett Jackson and Lula Ferguson Jackson; his wife Martha Quilla Oswalt Jackson; and his siblings, Q. B., Toad, Dulcia, Faye, Lester and Hurket.
He is survived by: his friend James Dale "Slick" Jackson; his sons, Lance Jackson (Linda) and Joby Jackson (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Lauren, Walker (Rachael), Miles (Shelby) and Eliot Jackson; and his great grandchildren, Layton, Lash, Keller, Tatum, Boone and Leighton James Jackson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
