She was predeceased by: her parents, Grady H. Bufkin and Naomi Lowe Bufkin; her husband John David King Sr.; and her siblings, Grady H. Bufkin, Jr., Johnny Bufkin and Janice Bunkley.
She is survived by: her sons, Johnny King (Nita) of Smith County and Mark King (Joy) of Raymond; her grandchildren, Brandon King (Jolene) of Wiggins, Anna Burns (Kellen) of Smith County, Seth King (Jenny) of Florence and SaraLyn King (Jacob) of Brandon; her great grandchildren, Emma Grace King, Kathryn King, Kingston Burns, Annelise King, John Major Burns and Millie Kate; and her sister Betty Jewel Grantham. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Edon Baptist Church (15 Co Rd 171, Stringer, MS 39481). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at the Edon Cemetery.
