He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Hancock and Vallie Ainsworth Hancock; his siblings, Cecil Hancock, S. V. Hancock, J. W. Hancock, Gertrude Moore, Wilma Coreen Sumrall and Ruby Ainsworth; and his mother-in-law Helen Hosey.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Hosey Hancock of Stringer; his children, Tony Hancock (Gina) of Stringer and Heather Pierce (Kevin) of Laurel; his sister Dorothy Lampkin of Laurel; his grandchildren, Dalton Lapeyrouse and Mikyla Hancock; and his father-in-law Jack Hosey. He is also survived by his family and friends.
