It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julene Kay Sherman of Stringer, Mississippi, born in Laurel, Mississippi, who passed away on February 12, 2024, at the age of 43, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father William Braxton Sherman; her grandparents, Braxton William, Olliean Sherman, Donnie C. and Nettie Smith; and her aunts, Sherry Lynn Pierce and Mary Lynn Smith.

She is survived by: her son Eli Ervin of Stringer, MS; her mother Jeanne Sherman Windham (Wayne) of Laurel, MS; her brothers, Thomas Daniel Sherman (Gina) and Robby Wilson Sherman of Laurel, MS; her aunts and uncles, Mary Ann Ashley (Bobby), Linda Lee Hull (Buddy), Jo Yarbrough (Earl), David Smith, Randy Smith (Janet) and Bryon Smith; her son Sam Ervin (Lindsey); and her extended family, Ken and Wanda Ervin. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
