He is survived by: his wife Janis Newton; his children, Scott Newton and Shannon Flaskamp (Troy); his grandchildren, Amber Green (Nolan), Tori Jenkins (Wesley), Alexa Hughes (Brock), Kaitlyn Bonner (Blake), Morgan Newton, Hunter Thrower (Sarah), Walker Newton, Zachary Flaskamp, Logan Flaskamp, Corey Cherry (Courtney) and Tanner Cherry; his brothers, Joe Newton (Judy) and Charles Cameron; his nephews, Ronnie Newton (Sylvia) and Don Newton (Tina); his niece Marty Carrell (Dow); and his stepson Bruce Hill. He is also survived by Eleven Great-grandchildren.
