She was predeceased by: her father Willie Brag; her pet Nicholson; her mother Bertha Nicholson (Johnston); and her nephew Mike Everett. She is survived by: her husband Marvin Herring; her daughter Dawn Herring; her nieces, Vicki Frasier, Jeanie Dew, Mary Ostrander and Melanie Kemp; her nephew Wesley Herring; her sister Pansy Everett; and her close friends, Molly Blanks, Rick Carmichael, Dianne Crane and Nicki Thomas.
In lieu of flowers, Peggy's family requests donations be made in her honor to the Stonewall United Methodist Church.
