He was predeceased by: his parent Rosser Lavelle Young, Sr.; his wife Camelia Ann Young; his parent Jean Young Smith (Higginbotham); his stepfather Kenneth Smith; his siblings, Terry Young, Bubba Young and Cassandra Fountain; and his grandson Marcus Herrington.
He is survived by: his children, Morris Herrington (Pam), Liza Randall (Jamey) and Angie Smith (Sam); his siblings, Sammy Young and Glenda McKee; and his sister-in-law Margaret Young. He is also survived by 10 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
