He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillie Riggs and James Courtney; and his wife Marilyn Hopkins Courtney. He is survived by: his sons, Bradley Courtney (Rhonda) and Ronnie Courtney; his grandchildren, Kierra Ott (Aaron) and Marlee Moore (Thomas); and his great grandchild Holland Moore.
