It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Everett Austin of Steens, Mississippi, born in Columbus, Mississippi, who passed away on October 22, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vannoy and Mary Lou Ussery Austin, Sr.; and his siblings, Vannoy A. Austin, Jr. and Alice Austin Nickoles. He is survived by: his sister Gladys Mann of Columbus, MS. He is also survived by nieces an nephews and great nieces.
