She was predeceased by: her parents, Mageolean Hinton and Gaines Patrick Hinton; and her husband Edward James. She is survived by: her children, Douglas James (Stacey) of Laurel, MS, Debbie Hudson (David) of State Line, MS and Detria Little of Petal, MS; and her grandchildren, Tashia White (Harold), Jeremy Hudson (Betsy), Stasia Setliff (Charlie), Andrew Little (Sarah), Patrick James (Lauren), Cameron James (Courtney) and Lindsey James. She is also survived by great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Freeman Funeral Home (1305 Skyland Dr, Waynesboro, MS 39367). A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM and at 2:00 PM at the Chicora First Baptist Church (1781 Buckatunna Chicora Clara Rd, Buckatunna, MS 39322).
