She was predeceased by: her mother Emma Sue Watson Jones. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Avera of State Line, MS; her siblings, Sara Jones (Fran) of Fenton, MI and John Jones (Clarice) of Ovett, MS; her sons, Danny Avera (Stephanie) of Laurel, MS and Chris Avera (Joni) of State Line, MS; her grandchildren, Brittany Buckley (Brandon) of Laurel, MS, Cole Avera (Taylor) of Stringer, MS, Brock Avera (Katelyn) of Laurel, MS, Kayte Avera of Laurel, MS and Emily Waddill of Jasper, AL; and her great grandchildren, Peyton, Harper, Easton, Lauren, Parker Kate and Bernie. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to Sloan Kettering Cancer Research.
