It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Geneva Ayers of Starkville, Mississippi, born in Ramer, Tennessee, who passed away on April 3, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Troy Benjamin Kirk and Lola Viola Wren Kirk; her son William Roger Ayers; her significant other William "Bill" Ayers; her siblings, William Eugene Kirk, Nell Kirk Parks and Lola Mae Kirk; and her son-in-law Jerry Jobe.
She is survived by: her daughter Ann Ayers Jobe; her sisters, Ruby Jean Newell and Virginia Wolfe; and her granddaughters, Heather (Wes Boose), Lorie, Haley (Josh Wooten), Ashley (Paul Campbell) and Jamie (Cory Lucius). She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in Geneva's memory to the American Heart Association.
