He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Clifford Bennett and Ruby Tallant Bennett; and his siblings, Geraldine Bennett Brown, Lilly Bennett Frederick, Jimmy Bennett, Jackie Bennett and Jerry Bennett.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Bennett; his children, Sandy Simpson-Helms (Scott), Brian Bennett (Kim) and Cynthia Martin (Todd); and his sisters, Etoyl Bennett Alred, Nellie Bennett Gault and Pattie Bennett Armstrong.
The family kindly requests any memorial donations be made to two organizations that held a special place in Roy's heart: Disabled American Veterans and the Boy Scouts of America Council, where his daughter and grandsons actively participated.
