It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roxene H. Atkinson of Starkville, Mississippi, born in Louisville, Mississippi, who passed away on January 28, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Angus R. Hall and Hassie L. Bowie Hall; her husband Charles L. Atkinson; and her sister Dr. Virginia Read. She is survived by: her daughters, Betty Lynn Atkinson of Florence, MS and Jeannie Atkinson White (Yaun White) of Alabaster, AL; and her granddaughters, Maggie and Hannah White.
