He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Hawkins Stringer (Liz); his children, Mary Elizabeth Stringer, Kathryn Anne Stringer Mann (Mason), Brad Pettit (Brooke), Robin Geary (Trey), Stacy Peoples (Chris), Robert Preston Stringer IV and Ashley Paige; and his siblings, Jean Ellis (Steve), Anne Land (Art) and John Stringer (Jayne). He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
