He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Rosemary Kelly Shannon; his daughter Connie Shannon Barber (Mark); his granddaughters, Mary Austin Barber Billups (Gex) and Mallory Rose Barber; his pet Molly Grace; his brothers, A. C. Shannon (Mildred) of Greenwood, MS and Allen Shannon (Faye) of Olive Branch, MS; his sons, Grant and Clayton; his mother Adrian Shannon; his brother Joe Dean Shannon; and his mother Hazel Shannon. He was also cherished by numerous sister and brother in-laws, and nieces and nephews.
